A Note from my Youth 

This girl I used to see when I was younger once said:

I want to marry a guy like you one day

(We never were together due to distance)

Though not today, growing up I was looked as inferior from both my family and the people I met in my youth- academically, physically, culturally, and socially. To this day when I think of the quote, I almost want to cry.
