Fallacy of Financial Sense

People who claim to be good with their money- especially those in the financial field- often preach cost cutting methods and saving. The catch is realistically, it’s often easier in theory to work harder for an extra dollar than to save a dollar.

The average person can muster a few hundred to a thousand dollars a month by simply getting an extra part time job or starting a side business. The problem is most people are just lazy.

Extra work also opens one to additional networking opportunities. So next time you think about wiping your ass with one piece of toilet paper instead of two, you might meet someone interesting during that extra folding of clothes in the evening, and have money for three extra pieces of toilet paper.
